Buick Showcases Two Concept EVs: Electra-LT and Electra-L 

Buick’s Electra-LT and Electra-L Was Presented At The Beijing Auto Show

Buick has revealed two new stunning electric vehicles (EVs) at the Beijing Auto Show called, the Electra-T and Electra-L. These electric concept EVs from Buick are set to break through the company’s position in the global EV market.

The Electra-L and Electra-LT showcase different styles. The Electra-L sedan build comes off sleek and elegant while the Electra-LT appears more sporty and adventurous with its shooting brake body style. In terms of the Electra-LT, portrays a different outlook including an elongated roofline, a third single window, and a pronounced D-pillar.

The Electra-LT also comes with a spoiler and subtle ducktail shape above its lights. Other features include a smart air suspension with a 1.6-inch extra lift, larger titanium wheels, fender protectors, luggage rails, and a roof rack. Not much is known about its performance aspects but it is known that it carries an all-wheel-drive (AWD) system that matches its sporty appearance.

As for the Electra-L, it comes 198.3-inches long and the design aspects on its front contain thin headlights with the ends facing downwards into a black trim design piece and a spiderweb pattern curving upwards from its low, wide grille and into the black trim design piece. Aside from its elegant appearance, the Electra-L boasts turbine-style chrome wheels in a purple colorway with its taillights stretching across its rear end.

Several features that stand out for the Electra-L include cameras replacing traditional side view mirrors, a panoramic glass roof, and an integrated tea table with a built-in induction cooker for the rear seats along with a fragrance diffuser, and a 7-inch display screen above the glove box for the front seat. In terms of the performance aspect of the Electra-L, it comes with its electric motor on its rear axle while delivering 342 horsepower with over 435 miles of range. 

It is not determined whether the two electric concept EVs by Buick will arrive in the United States (U.S.) market. Furthermore, as the Electra-LT and Electra-L seemingly aimed to go into production, the global EV market is receiving many different EV offerings that all elevate the standards of the current EV offerings in the global EV market. With innovation and futuristic design in mind, Buick’s Electra-LT and Electra-L are taking chances on pushing the boundaries of EV innovation and design.
